Business Description

Eiffel Tower Fine Catering specializes in international gourmet menus, floral arrangements, and a unique visually artistic presentation. Eiffel Tower is a retail business which was established in 1979 by Katie Mercier—Master French Chef. She has taught her business and culinary techniques to Tom Vanderbeek (executive chef) since 2000. Tom has used his skills to form a business which is stronger than ever before.

Eiffel Tower Fine Catering’s offices are open during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Catering is offered 24-7 depending on the client’s needs. Between February and April, Eiffel Tower limits its office hours to a winter schedule as the business is slower during this season.

It is typical of the catering industry to have extremely lucrative months June-August and again in December/early January due to graduations, weddings, and holiday events.

 

Product/Services

Eiffel Tower provides catering for virtually any size group (from 10 persons minimum to 3,000 maximum). Catering is Eiffel Tower’s only business. It is not a deli or restaurant trying to run a catering service on the side. Eiffel Tower can essentially cater anywhere. It’s not restricted to settings that feature kitchen facilities. They are equipped to transport and hold both hot and cold foods in locations where no facilities exist. Eiffel has the capacity, for example, to serve a buffet reception for 500, or a white glove dinner for 100 in the middle of a field!

Eiffel Tower Catering Orchestrates major events. They have the expertise and resources to carry out an event that captures nearly anyone’s vision. They offer on-site consultation and can answer logistic concerns, as well as coordinated detail such as: Floral arrangements, ice carvings, theme décor, lighting and specialty rental, tents, entertainment, magicians, DJ or live music, dance floors, special effects, bartending, and valet parking.

Tom Vanderbeek has been an Executive Chef since 1992 at such prestigious gourmet kitchens as Oasis Café, Picasso, Karen Jane Restaurant & Wine Bar, Maitre de Catering, and Eiffel Tower Fine Catering (beginning in 2000).
